About KVBSA

Mission Statement

KVBSA is a service organization dedicated to the youth of our area. Our program provides healthy activity and training guided by excellent leadership in an atmosphere with ample community participation. We strive to enrich their lives by inspiring them with goals, teamwork, and fair play.

The Kensington Valley Baseball and Softball Association provides a structured league for youth baseball teams. KVBSA is a competitive, inexpensive, well-organized, and passionate association with more than 200 teams from over 40 communities that have participated over the past few years.

We begin having monthly meetings in November to discuss the following season. We hold these meetings beginning at 7:00 P.M. The meeting dates and locations can be found on the League Calendar page.

Due to the competitiveness of the leagues, we offer multi-tiered divisions for ages U10 through U14. For more information on multi-tiered divisions, see the League Structure Guidelines page.

KVBSA offers flexible scheduling by allowing each division to determine the number of games to be played and leaving the scheduling of games for each team to decide.

KVBSA games are played using the rules specified by USSSA and MLB (8U - 14U) and NFHS (15U - 18U) with some KVBSA modifications. For a complete look at KVBSA rules, see the rules page.

All teams are required to have insurance through the league. Insurance coverage is included in the registration fee. See the Insurance page for details.

If you would like to join the KVBSA family, visit the Registration page or, for more information, contact us via email or phone.
